Does Maurielle Lue Wear A Wig? What’s Wrong With Her Hair?
Maurielle Lue doesn’t wear a wig but a weave.
Nonetheless, we don’t know what’s wrong with her hair as the news anchor hasn’t disclosed anything. In 2019, she gave a shout-out to Sieva Hair on social media. Reportedly, that company is behind the manufacture of her long silky tresses.
Further, Lue became a model for the company’s global launch. Charles Poole clicked the photos, Energy Artistry Studio’s Ahmad El did the hairstyling, and Cassandra Ward was behind the makeup.
Although little information is available on her hair situation, her health isn’t. In April 2021, she contracted the coronavirus, resulting in her hospitalization. She announced it via her Instagram post, but not how she got the virus. Reportedly, she went out with her friends. However, they didn’t get it.
In a 24-minute-long video on 3 April, Lue, in an emotional tone, talks about the sickness and the recovery process. She called her COVID-19 experience one of the hardest things to have ever gone through.
The clip shows her coughing several times and being very weak. She came to the hospital on 28 March 2021, a day after her 35th birthday. A spiritual person, she thanked everyone for their prayers.
However, her hospital discharge wasn’t the end of it as she began experiencing Covid-like symptoms six weeks into the recovery. Reportedly, her symptoms differed from her initial diagnosis. Her heart would beat heavily just after twelve steps down a hallway, making her Apple Watch congratulate her for a workout completion.
Likewise, she also forgot things, even feeding her dog, Hampton. The Covid made her lose weight as she had zero appetites, even though she had her sense of taste and smell. Not only that, she stopped receiving phone calls since she couldn’t hear the person talking to her.
Additionally, Lue suffered from fatigue and chronic pain. These two, including shortness of breath, anxiety, depression, organ damage, and short-term memory loss, are the symptoms of Long Hail Covid. Brain fog, a cognitive distortion, was the biggest hurdle in her recovery process.
On 2 January 2022, she posted a picture of her wearing a coat that looked like a blue wig to commemorate the coronavirus situation she faced the previous year.
