Michael Lee Aday, AKA Meatloaf, a popular American musician and actor, died on January 20, 2022, at the age of 74.
Micheal Greene, his longtime agent, confirmed the news in a statement on Friday.
When his death was announced, his representative described the artist as a “wonderful man.”
The musician and actor died with his wife, Deborah, by his side, according to an official announcement on Facebook.
Michael also talked about how his daughters, Pearl and Amanda, got to spend time with their father before he died.
The artist, who was born in Texas, was known for his powerful rock vocals as well as his spectacular live performances.
He began his career in the late 1960s, touring with Van Morrison and other celebrities.
After that, he went on to star in the musical Hair before launching his solo career.
His “Bat Out of Hell” trilogy, consisting of “Bat Out of Hell,” “Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell,” and “Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose,” has sold over 65 million records worldwide.
The original album, which was released more than four decades ago, continues to sell an estimated 200,000 copies per year and has been on the charts for over nine years, making it one of the best-selling albums in history.
Furthermore, in the mid-1990s, Meat Loaf earned a Grammy Award for his song “I’d Do Anything for Love.”

Following singer Meatloaf’s sudden death, netizens are speculating if his death was caused by Covid.
So far, there has been no announcement of such news, and the cause of death has not been revealed by the family.

He confessed in a 2018 interview with Rolling Stone that he needed assistance from his wife to get into bed every night. He went on to say that he has had numerous back surgeries over the years and that he passed out during a show in Canada in 2016.
Furthermore, due to his back issue, the singer struggled throughout his interview with Rolling Stone as well.
