Where Are His Parents Originally From?

Raheem Sterling’s parents are originally from Jamaica.

He was born to his mother Nadine Sterling and has a brother and two sisters; their names are Kingston Sterling, Kimberley Sterling, and Lakima Sterling respectively. As Raheem’s father passed away while he was only two years old, his mother was the one who raised him.

Talking about Nadine Sterling, she is a former athlete. In fact, she was a part of the Jamaican national athletics team. She gave birth to Raheem in the Maverley district of Kingston, Jamaica in 1994.

Sterling moved to London with his mother while he was 5 years old, and attended the Copland School.

Moving on, Raheem joined the Queens Park Rangers at a very young age. He played as a winger for the club. Academies of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Fulham, and Manchester City had also scouted him. However, he didn’t join any of the aforementioned clubs at that time.
