Somen Banerjee’s cause of death was a suicide that he had committed in his cell the day after he was sentenced to the death penalty.
Furthermore, Somen was announced guilty for the charges involving the murder of Nick de Noia, the former Chippendales choreographer. In addition, he was also been charged with plotting the murder of Read Scot, the former dancer. Somen was charged with the murders of other people of the club as well.
Banerjee was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angelos at 4 am. The incident took place on 24 October 1994.
