Candy Montgomery Betty Gore Murderer: What Happened To Her?

Candy Montgomery was considered a mainstay in her local area. That insight changed, however, after she had an unsanctioned romance with a wedded man and killed his better half with a hatchet. 

All of this started when Montgomery’s feelings for Betty’s husband, Allan Gore, started to grow. Candy was a housewife and church attendee who met Betty at The Methodist Church of Lucas. 

After admitting her adoration, Candy and Allan began engaging in extramarital relations. The crushed mother of two chose to assault Candy with a hatchet (ax) but remained unsuccessful. 

Instead, Candy exploited her helpless point and killed her own friend after hitting her multiple times with the ax.

Candy Montgomery was 29 years of age when the tragic incident took place.  Apparently, after 32 years, she is assumed to be 61 years old in 2022.

For her family, Candy Montgomery was a mother and housewife. She had a normal life and was well-liked by the community. in 1977, she and her better half Pat Montgomery moved into their fantasy house in Wylie, a suburb of Dallas. 

Her husband, Pat was an electrical engineer at Texas Instruments. The duo shared two children, a son, and a daughter.
